Eye Candy Beveled Edge Corners

When using beveled edge filters in Eye Candy (Bevel, Chrome, Glass), you will see two types of corner. One type of corner ends up with a bevel that forms a smooth arc. The other type causes the two bevels to collide, forming a sharp crease.

Some customers have asked for just the smooth kind and others have asked for just the sharp kind. We are aware of this but we haven't yet figured out how to prevent it. The technique we use to generate the beveled edges has this weakness. Unless of course you are one of the people who likes the effect, in which case it’s a feature!
