Product Improvement Program
Exposure Software’s Product Improvement Program is a voluntary way for our customers to help improve our products.
If you opt to participate, our products will collect information about how the product is used and then periodically send to Exposure Software’s servers. The information collected is completely anonymous. It is used to analyze how our products are used so we can improve them to better meet your needs.
Participants who agree to participate will share this information:
- System information like CPU type, amount of memory, video card type, OS type and version.
- Feature information such as buttons selected, sliders moved.
- The name of the software program that launches our product, such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom.
- Size and image type for the images processed.
FAQ
How is my privacy protected?
Data collected is entirely anonymous. We have no way of relating collected data to a license code or IP address. We do not collect any image data.
Will the data collected be sold to third parties?
No. We will never sell the information.
Will I be contacted or receive spam if I participate?
No. Information used in the program cannot be used to contact you.
Will the performance of my computer be affected by my participation?
No. The program is designed to not interfere with your work.
Will I be asked to participate in the program?
Yes. The first time our software is run, we ask you if you would like to participate. If you opt out, we will not collect any data.
If I choose to participate, can I opt out later?
Yes. Just turn off the option in the preferences dialog of your product.
Do you collect any information about other software that I use?
We collect the type and version of the operating system. We also collect the name of the program that launched our software such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom. We do not collect any other software information.
